Condolence From: Suzie and Steve Hivnor
Condolence: Carol, so very sorry you have lost your love. My heart is saddened, my tears are soft for you. I will always remember Buz for his joy of life. He always was able to make me smile, and always said what was on his heart. Steve loved when they got to go golfing and spend a little time. We are sorry now it was so few times. I will never forget how much he enjoyed the jazz we played at the wedding. Please know, Buz added to our lives. We can only hope we can add to other lives all he gave to ours. ”

Condolence: I wish blessings and peace to the family of Buz. He was a joy to see at Bob Evans. He was happy and brought much joy to others. My dad had that sweet way about him and he died the very same date as Buz only four years prior. Dad would have gotten such a kick out of Buz and his quick wit. He always had something funny to say. He could be silent and just make a face and make others laugh. He will be missed. May God bless his family richly and grant them peace.

Condolence: Buzz was as genuine a friend as I ever had. He lived life to it's fullest to the last minute. There was never a man that loved his wife and kids any more than Buz. He was so proud of Carol and his Marine sons. They and those grand-children were so special. Buzz was a giver. New kids would get hired at Bob Evans and some would have no money for work clothes. Buzz would go to Goodwill on his break and come back with clothing they could work in. I saw this happen numerous times. Buzz had a special tenderness for the young soldiers coming in to eat at BE. Buzz would often pick up their check and treat them to a meal. He was always giving at legends Golf Course. Kids would be trying to learn the game and he would give them golf balls, tees and whatever he could come up with. Franklin has lost a very good man here. When he was laying in that hospital bed with death awaiting him any day, he seemed as though he was planning his birthday party. He knew the Lord and knew that it was his time. He wore his smile right to the end. He was a great example for the rest of us. RIP Buzz!

Condolence: When my father, Gene Brown, was alive, Bob Evans was his second home every morning. Dad collected state quarters and Buz would always save some for him. When dad died Buz placed 4 state quarters in dad’s suit pocket to take to heaven with him. A touching jester I will never forget. Buz was such a sweet man and always had a glimmer in his eyes and a smile for everyone. God speed Buz. You will be missed🙏🏻

Condolence: Carol and family,
I am so sorry for your loss. Heaven gained another angel this week and I know he will be watching over all of you until you meet again. I will miss that silly little smile of his whenever I would see him while out. He was such a nice man and you two were just the best couple I know. I cherish the times I spent with him and the family. Even though sometimes we went long periods of time without seeing each other the love and friendship was always there. I love you my friend. If you need anything please let me know! God Bless.
